Gary Valenciano has announced that he will be adding a new show date to his Gary V Pure Energy: One Last Time concert series this May.
The announcement came yesterday (April 15) after fans clamored for more seats and shows. In a Facebook post, the artist shared, “Want more seats? We heard you. And we did something about it.” The third show will happen on May 10 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, while the first two shows are slated for April 26 and 27.
Tickets for the concert are priced at P750 for general admission, P1,500 for upper box, P2,500 for lower box B, P3,500 for lower box A, P6,000 for patron, P10,000 for VIP, and P12,500 for SVIP. Tickets for the May 10 show will be available sometime next week. Watch this space for more updates.
Valenciano first announced the concert series earlier in January, where via an Instagram post, he wrote, “I’m celebrating 40 years of doing what I’ve always loved most. And with gratitude in my heart for the [o]ne source of all Pure Energy, I look forward to the new chapters, seasons, beginnings, and horizons that lie ahead. It’s time…let’s go big…one last time!”
Last year, the pop star concluded his run of Gary V Back At The Music Museum, where he celebrated his 100th solo show at the famed concert venue last November 3. The concert series, as well as its rerun, were sold out.
The show featured Valenciano’s long-time collaborators as well as family members, such as his children Gab Valenciano and Kiana V (with son Paolo Valenciano directing) and his niece, Kai Buizon as the concert’s opening act. In an Instagram post commemorating the 100th show, Paolo wrote, “Show #100 …. things got emotional! It’s going to be hard to move on from this one.”
