Following five years since their debut, Flu have premiered their first-ever album.

Last September 28, the funk quartet took to Instagram to announce the upcoming release of their debut album, Time & Pace. The 10-track record — which comprises a mix of reimagined Flu favorites and new tracks — has been released today (October 4) on all streaming platforms.

As the band individually enters new transitions and periods of their lives, the group appropriately dubbed this upcoming feature as Time & Pace. In an official press release, the band explained, “… The key to infectious tunes is pacing — move too fast, and you miss the magic; move too slow, and you miss opportunities to let the groove flow.” Reflecting these learnings, the upcoming album is halved into two sections; night and day. Composed of songs ranging from R&B jams to upbeat funk tunes, the album charts out Flu’s journey of highs and lows, love and life — all while maintaining their signature soulful sound.

This follows their recent collaboration with Thai indie pop talent Numcha on their single, “I’ll Be Mine,” which was released in February of this year.
