Following the news of Munimuni’s upcoming performance at LucFest 2023, Filipino funk quartet Flu has just recently announced that they will be joining the Taiwanese music festival’s lineup this upcoming November 5.

Flu joins Munimuni as the only two performers to represent the Philippines at the indie music festival this year, joining the likes of South Korea’s ADOY, 250 and Gira, Indonesia’s Reality Club, Dongker, and Isyana Sarasvati, Thailand’s Lepyutina, Valentina Ploy, and Numcha, and Hong Kong’s Virgin Vacation, CHANKA, and The Hertz.

In a statement shared on their social media platforms, Flu expressed their excitement at joining the prestigious Asian festival stating the following: “Taiwan is very dear to us cause it was the first time we played out of the Philippines as a band, and since then, it’s kicked open so many doors for us––we’re forever grateful to those first shows and to all of you who showed up.”

Since its inception in 2017, LUCFest has evolved into a premier platform for highlighting the finest talents from Taiwan, the rest of Asia, and even beyond. This year’s festivities are slated to occur from November 3 to November 5 for three days of musical fun in the city of Tainan, with daily passes available at TWD 1,999. Two-day passes are priced at TWD 3,299, while PRO passes are priced at TWD 3,500, with the latter granting access not only to the festival but also to the musical conference.

Tickets are available via the festival’s official website here.
