The alternative rock band are planning to bring their new sound from their upcoming album to the landmark venue in their first major solo show.

Filipino alternative band fitterkarma are officially bringing their emotional sound and dark aesthetic to the Art Deco halls of the Metropolitan Theater Manila on September 19, 2026.
The concert was announced on the band’s social media page with the caption “kung tayo’y nasa isang horror na pelikula, tiyak ako ang una mong papatayin (If we were in a horror movie, I would definitely be the first one you would kill),” which is also going to be the title of their upcoming debut album, previously teased at the end of the music of their latest single “maryclaire.” The concert poster features an eerie colonial-style room with a veiled woman dressed in white.
The band will also be collaborating with string quartet group The Manila String Machine for the concert. The setlist will feature all the songs from their upcoming album, which will be released on September 9, 2026. Recently, the band released their newest single, “Purgatoryo,” which will also be a part of their soon-to-be-available album.

Formed in 2023, fitterkarma — currently composed of Joao de Leon (vocals/guitar), Sophia Miranda (bass), Sanders Bayas (drums), and Mikee Mendoza (guitar) — crafted a unique identity leaning into a dark urban aesthetic coupled with their penchant for Philippine folklore.
