NIKI has just released her second studio album, Buzz.

The sophomore release from the beloved 88rising musician showcases an intriguing blend of the soft pop elements from her 2022 debut Nicole and a refreshing amount of groovy bass lines and rock-inspired tunes that rejuvenate her sound. Buzz features the previously released set of singles “Too Much Of A Good Thing,” “Tsunami,” and “Blue Moon” as part of its 13 tracks, and highlights production from Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers, Remi Wolf, Carly Rae Jepsen), Andy Seltzer (Samia, Maggie Rogers, Joan), and NIKI herself.

Describing the forthcoming record as her “best album yet,” the 88rising talent further opened up about how the project came about, stating, “I went through an identity crisis. It took a lot of trial and error, and I just stumbled upon pieces of myself along the way. I named it Buzz because it feels like I’m on the precipice of something about to happen.”

In support of the album, NIKI is currently set to return to the Philippines for a two-night performance on February 11 and 12, 2025 as part of her ‘Buzz World Tour.’ Though no details have been released concerning which venue the 88rising talent will be gracing, the rest of her Asia leg of the tour will begin in Hong Kong (February 9) and move to Jakarta (February 14 and 15), Singapore (February 18), Taipei (February 20), and Bangkok (February 22), before concluding in Kuala Lumpur (February 25 and 26).
