Ebe Dancel, Urbandub, The Itchyworms, The Ronnies, and REVISORS are rallying together for ‘Alingawngaw Para Kay Echo,’ a benefit show for Echo Singson, to take place at 123 Block in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City on October 16, 2026.

A valued presence in the Filipino music industry, Echo Singson has contributed to the local music scene over the decades through behind-the-scenes work as a host, sound technician, production assistant, and lighting crew member on several shows. In addition to this, he co-founded the indie rock band Boldstar in 1999 with The Itchyworms’ Jazz Nicolas, filmmaker Marie Jamora, and Ciudad’s Justin Sunico.

Singson also has close ties with The Itchyworms, whose lead guitarist, Chino, is his older brother. To this day, Singson remains an active participant and supporter in the Filipino community.

On September 19, Singson suffered a stroke while hosting a March of the Penguins gig at Mow’s Bar in Quezon City. Rushed to and eventually discharged from East Avenue Medical Center, he currently shows small signs of improvement.

As Singson continues his recovery, OPM acts will be teaming up to raise funds for his medical expenses and rehabilitation. All the gig’s proceeds will go to this cause.

Tickets for the show will be available for Php 1,000 each at the venue on the day of the event.
