DC5 is coming… and it finally has an album name!

Doja Cat is gearing up for a new era. The American rapper and singer has revealed the title for her forthcoming fifth studio album, which is titled Vie.

She shared to X and teased that the album was coming soon, to be released under Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. As of this writing, no album release date or track list has been announced.

Fans are speculating what the title means for the album’s narrative. “Vie” is a French word that translates to “life.” The word is used in common French phrases such as “ma vie,” which translates to “my love” in English. Some fans have noted that the album may revolve around love songs and we may be expecting the lead single to be released on Valentine’s Day.

The announcement came after her recent collaboration with LISA on “Born Again,” which also features British singer-songwriter Raye.

Doja released her last record, Scarlet, in September 2023, which featured the hit singles “Paint the Town Red” and “Agora Hills.”
