Dionela To Perform In ‘Kabayan Night’ Event In Abu Dhabi

Dionela is reaching out to his Filipino fans in the UAE as the singer sets out for the ‘Kabayan Night’ concert at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Waterworld on September 27, 2026.
Yas Waterworld recently announced the upcoming event in a social media post featuring vibrant artwork of the “Marilag” hitmaker. The R&B artist posted his own announcement, this time with a black-and-white poster.
Days ago, the water park teased that it would be bringing a “major live act” to its Filipino-themed evening, dubbed ‘Kabayan Night.’
Covered also by the Abu Dhabi Review, Yas Waterworld’s ‘Kabayan Night’ is set to feature live singers, DJs, a parade with street dancers, themed photo opportunities, and authentic Filipino street food in addition to the R&B singer’s performance.
Tickets can be purchased through the venue’s website for AED 125.
Commencing from 4:30 PM to 10 PM, the upcoming ‘Kabayan Night’ will return with its usual set of themed stalls and experiences celebrating Filipino culture. The water park hosted its previous iterations in November 2024 and June 2023.
Headlining the water park’s “biggest Kabayan Night yet,” Dionela is best known for his chart-topping hit “Marilag,” which reached No. 1 on both Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs in December 2024.
The singer’s performance in Abu Dhabi will precede his appearance at IAM Worldwide’s ‘9race’ Music Festival at the Araneta Coliseum on October 4, 2026. Later that month, the artist will also perform in Tokyo and Osaka on October 27 and 29, respectively, for his ongoing ‘The Promise Tour.’
