Jungkook of BTS is making a comeback this week.

On June 3, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that Jungkook would be returning with a brand-new single this June, entitled “Never Let Go”. Described as a “fan song” in the announcement, the new single is said to be a “heartfelt tribute to Jung Kook’s fans encapsulating the message ‘to never let go of each other’s hands'” that serves as a “token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world.”

This comes as the highly anticipated follow-up to Jungkook’s debut album GOLDEN. released last November 3, 2023. It contains the viral hit single “Seven” featuring Latto as well as “Standing Next To You”, “3D” featuring Jack Harlow, “Yes or No”, and more. In relation to this, recently, a remix of “Standing Next To You” was featured in Usher’s latest album COMING HOME, released last February 9.

“Never Let Go” is set to be released this June 7 at 12:00 PM PHT (1:00 PM KST).

Alongside the other members of BTS, Jungkook is currently serving his mandatory military service. He officially began his duties on December 12, 2023 and is expected to be discharged around June 2025.
