BTS‘ Jin has just announced his second solo mini-album, titled Echo.
His label, BIG HIT MUSIC, officially announced the forthcoming record through a surprise announcement on Jin’s Weverse page, teasing new information without confirming its official release date beyond the month of May 2025. The post also stated that more details about the upcoming album will be released over the days of April 15 to April 19 in order to build up the hype and anticipation of Echo’s release.

Echo marks Jin’s highly anticipated follow-up to Happy, his debut mini album as a solo artist, which spawned the viral singles “Running Wild” and “I’ll Be There.” Both tracks debuted within the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, with the former peaking at No. 10 on the chart while the latter entered the chart at No. 36.
Aside from his group endeavors with BTS or his solo career as a musician, Jin has kept himself busy as part of Netflix’s ongoing Korean variety series, Kianne’s Bizarre B&B, wherein he runs a quirky bed-and-breakfast alongside webtoon artist Kian84 and SNL Korea’s Ji Ye-un. With his participation in the show, he gets to showcase his signature comedic charm together with his warmth, in addition to what ARMY members recognize regarding his talent.
