Indie and alternative rock band bird. are embarking on their four-month-long album tour this year.

The band will be playing in gigs within Metro Manila as well as Bulacan, Naga, Baguio, Laguna, and La Union. The oshin album tour commenced in Bulacan last January 12 and will conclude at a currently undisclosed location on April 19. In an Instagram post announcing the tour, the band wrote, “2023 was reaaaaally [sic] good but we know 2024 is gonna be even better! [A]lways all thanks to you people. 🙂 hope we see you at our shows.”

Composed of Carlos Calderon on bass, Hannah Jabla on drums, Aaron Corvera on guitars, and Eco del Rio on vocals and guitar, bird. first debuted in 2019 with the release of their single, “weekend.”

In July of last year, they released their debut album oshin, which was named as one of Billboard Philippines’ Best Albums of 2023. In a description written by Editor-in-Chief Bret Jackson, he wrote, “Hazy and shadowed by twelve noon skies, you’re sunburnt on the beach and recording life through a VHS camcorder. An immediate sense of nostalgia is built into the very core of bird’s full-length record, oshin. Sunbathing in sweet nothings, long drives and experiences you can only access through memory, bird. has taken the best parts of their influences while still delivering a completely honest, salt-infused performance. Mapapaheadbang ka sa lungkot and you’ll love it.”
