Last December 2023, Ben&Ben and Belle Mariano delightfully surprised the OPM world, revealing that they would be teaming up for a special version of the folk-pop icons’ then-recently released single “Autumn.” Now, they are coming out with a music video for it this March.

On March 13, the 9-piece band and the actress-singer announced that they would be releasing a music video for their highly regarded collaboration. The music video is set to be released on March 15 at 6 PM. Tune in to the premiere here.

The “Autumn” team-up was originally released last December 8, 2023 and was used in the soundtrack for the Can’t Buy Me Love series, starring Mariano herself and Donny Pangilinan.

Ben&Ben are featured on the cover of Billboard Philippines’ Folk Issue, wherein the group discusses storytelling through their music, their journey together, as well as the future of folk music of the Filipinos. On the tales told through their songs, frontman Miguel Benjamin shared, “The stories that we portray in our different songs and themes are mostly, if not all, about our real experiences as humans, as young Filipinos, and about being human in general. That involves every kind of experience that you feel and sa bawat isang (with every) sensation, sense sa katawan (of the body) and your reflections on them. Of course, we experience so many different areas and aspects of our lives, a lot of it — I guess, especially for young people — is about love and heartbreak, but also for young people these days, which we are a part of, [one of things that matter] is being a citizen; an advocate for something…” The band most recently opened for Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran during the Manila stop of his +–=÷× Tour last March 9 wherein frontmen and brothers Miguel and Paolo Benjamin performed their track “Maybe The Night” alongside Sheeran.

Belle Mariano is currently one of the nominees for Billboard Philippines’ Women In Music Listeners’ Choice Awardee 2024 for her track “Bugambilya” (Bougainvillea). She most recently released her second EP entitled And Solemn just this January 27 as a follow up to her 2023 EP Somber.
