Belle Mariano is back in the music scene.

The celebrated actress-singer’s latest extended play, BELIEVE, has just been released — a collection of five inspiring pop tracks that tackle themes of accepting one’s destiny, overcoming pain, and paving your path to achieving your dreams. All of the tracks were produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, and are expected to be performed in the live setting for the first time at the Can’t Buy Me Love actress’ upcoming concert, BELIEVE: The Belle Mariano Birthday Concert.

Mariano’s highly anticipated concert is scheduled to take place next week on July 13 (Saturday), 8 PM at the Theatre at Solaire. Special guests Donny Pangilinan, Martin Nievera, Moira Dela Torre, and Denise Julia are also set to perform at the celebratory event. Although the show is already sold out, fans may also catch its live stream via the iWantTFC mobile app and website, or through iWantTFC Tickets for only Php 599 here.

Expressing her excitement at doing a concert as grand as this, Mariano mentions, “Hindi ko siya na-visualize (I couldn’t visualize it in my head). It was too grand for me. I used to sing in the videoke with my lolo (grandfather) and it feels like I’m not just fulfilling my dream — I’m also fulfilling his.”

However, preparing for the musical event has given her more faith in her capability as a performer. “The process of the concert made me believe in myself,” she adds. “This marks a growth of who I am in the industry.” With the hope of inspiring her listeners, Mariano proudly states that with this record, “I want to make the listeners, the audience, believe in themselves.”

BELIEVE follows actress-singer’s previous releases Daylight, Somber, and And Solemn. Earlier this year, she was also awarded the Listener’s Choice award in Billboard Philippines‘ inaugural Women in Music event and was named Spotify’s Lullaby Artist Awardee. Though she has become recognized for her prolific filmography over the years, Mariano has also found acclaim with her string of hit singles that include “Bugambilya,” “Sigurado,” and a special collaboration with Ben&Ben for their track “Autumn.”
