Emerging actress Ashtine Olviga is officially entering the music scene with her debut single, “Love Like U,” set for release on April 22 at 12:00 AM.
The announcement came on social media with a caption hinting at the track’s romantic core, with the young artist writing, “Ready to fall in love?” A preview shared by Viva Records gives fans a glimpse of the song’s tone, featuring the lyrics: “The way you love me like you do / has got me fallen deeper every day.“
“Love Like U” leans into a soft, melodic pop sound, blending gentle instrumentation with Ashtine’s warm vocal delivery that mirrors the feeling of being swept away by love.
Visually, Ashtine introduces the single through a stylish concept, appearing in a denim ensemble for the single’s concept video that reflects her youthfulness and ease — matching the song’s light, heartfelt vibe.
To celebrate the release, the actress-turned-singer will host a TikTok Live Salubong on April 21 at 11:30 PM, counting down to the single’s official drop. A lyric video and full music video are also expected to follow soon.
Best known for her role in the Viva One series Ang Mutya ng Section E, Ashtine has steadily built her acting portfolio with projects like Manila’s Finest and Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna. Recently, the actress released an anthology series titled Viva One Originals: Ashtine, where she took on comedy, romance, horror, and drama roles, showcasing her range.
Prior to her debut single, Ashtine has already explored music through several soundtrack releases, including “Sa Panaginip Na Lang” for Wonderful Nightmare and “Minamahal,” a duet with her on-screen partner Andres Muhlach, for their film, showing her versatility beyond acting.
Just last month, she also won the People’s Choice Award at Billboard Philippines Women in Music 2026, highlighting her strong public support and positioning her as one of the emerging young artists to watch in the local entertainment scene.
