Billboard Philippines’ Off The Charts party, held last July 31, was a spectacular event showcasing the biggest stars of the Filipino music scene today.
Taking place in the lively setting of KAO Manila, the event celebrated the first month of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts and introduced a new podcast series of the same name that delves into these rankings. Yet this night not only celebrated the presence of the industry’s definitive ranking of tracks, rather it was a celebration of the thriving OPM scene that has only managed to evolve and grow over a short period of time.
By bringing together some of the industry’s most prominent and beloved musical names and acts in one place, the Off The Charts party further solidified that the music scene is burning bigger and brighter than ever. The gathering led to extraordinary musical collaborations, featuring the top-tier talent that dominates the charts and continues to captivate audiences everywhere. From what we’ve seen, it is these artists who are the titans of the industry, the ones who set trends and have accumulated over a billion musical streams across various musical platforms.
From OPM heavy hitters like Ben&Ben, Morissette, Dave Lamar, Zild, Blaster, and more to standout hip-hop acts like O SIDE MAFIA, this is merely a glimpse of who the biggest names in the Philippine music scene are.
