Singer, songwriter, and Filipino R&B great Jay Durias joins us on this week’s episode of Billboard Philippines Studios.
As the current frontman of South Border, he has penned and sung some of the group’s biggest hits over the past 30 years. In a feature on South Border’s five best songs, Billboard Philippines wrote, “As far as Filipino pop music goes, few bands have made their mark in terms of popularity and acclaim like South Border have.”

In this episode of Studios, Durias performs a series of his most iconic songs, namely “Rainbow,” “Tulog,” “Habang Atin Ang Gabi,” and “Kahit Kailan.” He plays an all-new all-piano accompaniment while singing in the soulful voice we know all too well.
On the last episode of Studios, Baguio’s six-piece rock band Dilaw graced the stage with reimagined versions of “Uhaw,” “Janice,” “Orasa,” and a currently unreleased song, “Walwal.”
