As of October 12, juan karlos’ “ERE” has reached a new peak at 67th place on the global Spotify chart, earning 1.666 million streams –– marking the biggest amount of single-day streams for any Filipino song in history.
This immense feat beats out the all-time stream record for any song on Spotify Philippines in one day, even surpassing its own stream records just a few days back, along with Lola Amour’s viral hit, “Raining in Manila”, and Taylor Swift’s “Mine (Taylor’s Version).
The song’s virality and record-breaking achievements come as no surprise, given that the hit single tackles themes such as the feelings of pain and despair that come with heartbreak.
