Rising star Ryannah J — the voice behind the viral sensation “This Na Malambing” — has officially signed with O/C Records.
The hitmaker joins the label’s dynamic roster of talents, alongside artists like Adie, Kenaniah, Pappel, and mrld, for an exclusive recording contract and talent management agreement overseen by the leadership of Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza.
The 18-year-old singer-songwriter, born Ryannah Julia Policarpio, expressed her excitement, noting that her artistic vision resonates with O/C’s ethos of being “young, crazy, and free.” Her debut single, “This Na Malambing” featuring Nateman, was released earlier this May, and has already achieved remarkable success, amassing a total of over 41 million streams on Spotify and counting.
In just a few months, Ryannah J, who is also the younger sister of social media influencer Sachzna Laparan, has attracted a substantial following, boasting over 2.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. Since her debut on the scene, the rising musician has released a total of four tracks — including the follow-up to “This Na Malambing” titled “Puntirya,” “Halikana,” and her latest release, “Kuwago” which dropped just a few weeks back.
“This Na Malambing” currently stands at the No. 62 spot on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 — proving that both her and Nateman’s talents have resonated with listeners around the country. Also later this November, Ryannah J is scheduled to perform with Nateman at HYDRO Manila’s La Union Takeover event, alongside other acts such as Gloc-9, Hev Abi, Flow G, Mayonnaise, Realest Cram, and more.
