Rising alt-pop artist Lorenzo Jan officially signs a record deal with KDR Music House, joining the label’s growing pool of up-and-coming talents in the local music scene.
Starting his journey in music during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Laguna-based singer-songwriter began producing beats and uploading song covers online. What started as a creative outlet eventually evolved into a serious endeavor, leading to online traction and live performances.
He describes himself as a detail-oriented creative, crafting his music down to the smallest detail. He shares that his artistry is inspired by Dallon Weekes, The Strokes, The 1975, and Gorillaz.
In 2025, he was selected as a Top 10 finalist at Jameson Distilled Sounds Philippines Artist Search, a global artist search that supports rising musicians through mentorship opportunities, label support, and an endorsement deal with Jameson Whiskey Philippines.
Now joining KDR Music House, he is set to release new music with the upcoming single “Wag Nalang” — a heartfelt anthem about walking away from a relationship with someone emotionally unavailable.
Lorenzo sees himself growing as a homegrown artist under the label, with hopes of creating music that is meaningful and deeply resonant to his listeners. Amplifying the message behind his music, “okay lang yan” (it’ll be okay) serves as a reminder that letting go is a way to move forward and embrace new beginnings.

Lorenzo is set to perform as a front act at the Wish Stopover Sessions featuring Ben&Ben, who are celebrating their ninth anniversary, on May 10 at Eton Centris in Quezon City.
