Taylor Swift Kicks Off “August” On The Philippines Hot 100

To commemorate the start of August (dated August 9, 2025), Taylor Swift has broken into the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 with her hit track of the same title at the No. 77 position.

This week marks the song’s re-entry, as it had previously broken into the chart at the No. 57 position last year at the start of August as well (dated August 10, 2024). In spite of having been released in 2020 with her album folklore, the track’s ability to break into the chart on an annual basis proves Swift’s domination over the Philippine sonic landscape.

In recent news, it has recently been announced that UK’s Channel 4 will soon launch brand-new two-part documentary series about the global pop star, tentatively titled Taylor. As of today, Taylor Swift continues her hiatus from her record-breaking Eras TourEras TourA touring concept in which a touring show is organized around an artist's different musical periods, with each section reflecting a distinct album's visuals, costumes, and sound.
