The Eras Of Taylor Swift Explored In New Documentary Series
It will chronicle the global pop star’s 20-year journey from an ambitious teen singer to the global music icon we know today.

Swifties have something to look forward to as the UK’s Channel 4 has announced a brand-new two-part documentary series about global pop star Taylor Swift.
Tentatively titled Taylor, the two-part series will explore the singer-songwriterSinger-SongwriterA musician who writes and performs their own songs, typically accompanied by guitar or piano. Valued for personal storytelling and authenticity, singer-songwriters form a major part of the Filipino musicGo to Singer-Songwriter Glossary’s 20-year career that catapulted her to becoming the music icon today, and featuring sit-down interviews with fans, industry insiders, and commentators.
Additionally, Channel 4 promises to include “rare archive” material that will offer fresh insights into her story and journey — from an ambitious teenage singer to one of the most influential and closely scrutinized figures in pop culture today.”
Directed by Guy King, this new documentary series follows Netflix’s 2020 film Miss Americana, which recounts Taylor’s life between her Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018 and the lead-up to the release of her seventh studio album, Lover, in 2019.
Meanwhile, the announcement comes as Swift is on a brief hiatus from her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour,’ sparking speculation that new music or a re-release of her debut or Reputation albums could be coming soon.
As of this writing, Channel 4 has not confirmed an official air date or whether the series will be available to stream internationally.
Last May, Swift announced she had acquired full ownership of the master recordings of her first six albums, following a years-long dispute that began in 2019 when her former label, Big Machine Records, was sold to Scooter Braun, transferring the rights to her masters without her consent.
