ROSÉ and Bruno Mars have debuted straight to the top of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated November 2, 2024) with “APT.”
The newly released track immediately hit the No. 1 spot on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, demonstrating its clear impact on audiences all across the nation. As ROSÉ’s first release since signing to Atlantic Records, this collaboration with the Filipino-American hitmaker has surely made an even bigger star of the BLACKPINK member, while simultaneously building up the anticipation for her forthcoming debut album, titled rosie. With the track’s prevalence and reigning dominance across nearly every streaming and social media platform (with credit to the dance challenges and varied soundbites it has been used for), it’s crystal clear as to why “APT.” has immediately reached the peak of the chart upon its first week.
Elsewhere on the Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100, Mars shares the No. 2 spot with Lady Gaga for their chart-topping ballad “Die With A Smile,” while Billie Eilish retains her stronghold on the No. 3 position with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER.” TJ Monterde stands at No. 4 with the “Palagi,” while ROSÉ’s fellow BLACKPINK member JENNIE maintains her position at No. 5 on the chart with the catchy “Mantra.”
Dionela and Jay R’s “Sining” steps down a few spots to No. 6, while Maki’s “Dilaw” which moves to No. 7 on the chart. Fellow BLACKPINK member LISA jumps all the way up from No. 21 last week to the No. 8 spot on this week’s chart with “Moonlit Floor,” while Sabrina Carpenter evens out the rest of the Top 10 with “Taste” and “Bed Chem,” which rank at No. 9 and No. 10 on the chart respectively.
Other new entries on this week’s Philippines Hot 100 chart include a plethora of One Direction’s hit songs, such as “Perfect” at No. 26, “Story Of My Life” at No. 38, “Steal My Girl” at No. 75, “What Makes You Beautiful” at No. 81, and “You & I” at No. 98. Aside from those, Bruno Mars’ “Treasure” debuts at No. 77, and Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” makes an appearance at No. 89.
