LANY are making waves with five new entries on this week’s Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated October 26, 2024).
Even past their four-day concert in the Philippines from October 12 to October 16, people are still evidently feeling the LANY hype. Some of the band’s greatest hits have entered the chart, with their 2017 smash hits “13,” “ILYSB,” and “Super Far” charting at the No. 36, No. 60, and No. 93 positions respectively. Their 2018 classic, “Malibu Nights,” has also made its way onto the No. 45 position, while the 2021 fan favorite track “dna” closes the chart at No. 100.
On the other hand, already on the chart and still rising are a beautiful blur album track “‘Cause You Have To” placing at No. 22, and “Mean It” — the band’s 2019 collaboration with Lauv — at No. 33.
This follows the recent Philippine shows of their tour for their latest album a beautiful blur, where they held their biggest performance to date at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last October 12. Additionally, the band performed for three nights, from October 13 to 15, at Cebu’s Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts are updated weekly every Wednesday.
