JENNIE has just made an impressive debut on the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100, with her pretty girl “Mantra” having manifested a Top 5 position on this week’s chart update (dated October 26, 2024).
The BLACKPINK member’s first solo track with Columbia Records and ODDATELIER has made its debut at the No. 5 spot of the Philippines Hot 100 — proving that her Filipino ‘Rubies’ are in fact stronger than ever. Its impressive reach could easily be attributed to the track’s popularity across all social media and streaming platforms, having inspired a dance challenge that has amassed over 100,000 participants and counting on TikTok alone. With tens of millions of streams across Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube as well –– it’s undeniably proven that the track is a certified hit that leaves us wanting more from JENNIE’s solo career.
Alongside JENNIE’s “Mantra,” other tracks on this week’s Top 10 include Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars‘ “Die With A Smile,” which still holds the top spot for its sixth week in a row. TJ Monterde‘s “Palagi” moves up to No. 2 on the Philippines Hot 100, jumping up two spots from its last position at No. 4, while Billie Eilish‘s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” still holds the fort at No. 3.
Dionela and Jay R‘s “Sining” moves down two spots to a new placement at No. 4, while Maki‘s “Dilaw” falls one spot to No. 6. Sabrina Carpenter still occupies the most entries on the Top 10, with “Bed Chem,” “Taste,” and “Please, Please, Please” ranking at the No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9 positions respectively. Capping off the Top 10 is Robledo Timido‘s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang,” which moves down to No. 10.
Aside from “Mantra,” other new entries on this week’s Philippines Hot 100 chart update include the addition of five LANY tracks, SEVENTEEN and DJ Khaled’s collaboration track “Love, Money, Fame,” Orange and Lemons’ “Hanggang Kailan,” NIKI’s “Backburner,” LAUV’s “I Like Me Better,” and Ne-Yo’s “Miss Independent.”
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart.
