This week on the charts (dated April 26, 2025), Filipino hip-hop has taken over, with five entries dominating the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs. Each of these rap hits continue to cement the everlasting influence that local hip-hop continues to reign over the country’s listening habits, as independent rappers make addictive radio staples that take the Philippine sonic landscape by storm.
As it currently stands, the No. 4 spot is occupied by HELLMERRY’s “My Day,” that has sustained its place in the Chart for 14 weeks and counting. Additionally, Ryouji and CK YG have risen up to the No. 6 spot with their collaborative addictive hit, “B4 I Let You Go,” and Skusta Clee’s “Kalimutan Ka” shifts up as well to the No. 17 position.
Capping off the Top Philippine Songs are Robledo Timido’s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang,” which has retained a whopping 31 weeks on the Chart, and OLG Zak, Realest Cram, Nateman, and CK YG make a fresh entry into the Chart “Ipagdadamot Kita” at the No. 25 position.
