Dionela has scored himself another high-ranking entry on Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs chart.

On November 27, 2024, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of November 30, 2024. On the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs, Dionela’s “Marilag” — the highly anticipated follow-up to the viral, chart-topping “sining” with R&B icon Jay R — has made a significant jump on the chart, ranking up from its debut position at No. 23 last week to entering the chart’s top 10 at No. 4 this week. It joins “sining” as well as the rising R&B star’s other hit “Oksihina” on the chart this week, achieving their own rankings at No. 2 and No. 6 respectively.

“Marilag” — a celebration the otherworldly beauty and divine-like presence of a special someone — also also ranks significantly on Billboard PhilippinesHot 100, making a major leap from its debut ranking of No. 55 last week to also entering the chart’s top 10 at No. 7 this week. It was released last November 8. Much like “sining,” it has made rounds online since its release, thanks to its confessional and profound yet relatable lyricism alongside a catchy fusion of rap and R&B.

For the rest of the Top Philippine Songs chart’s top 10 this week, TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan maintain their unrivaled hold on the No. 1 spot with “Palagi,” followed by the aforementioned “sining” at No. 2. Meanwhile, Maki’s “Dilaw” occupies the No. 3 spot while his other viral track “Namumula” moves to the No. 8 spot this week.

Hip-hop also maintains a strong presence in the top 10 with rising rapper Robledo Timido taking the No. 5 spot with his viral, breakout single “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang” while hip-hop group ALLMO$T attain the No. 7 spot with the sensual “Boyfriend.”

Rounding off the chart’s top 10 are Cup of Joe with their collaboration single with Janine Teñoso, “Tingin,” as well as their heartfelt single “Misteryoso,” achieving the No. 9 and No. 10 positions respectively.
