Dionela and Jay R climb high on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart this week.

On the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, dated July 27, 2024, we see “sining” – the collaboration track between singer-songwriter Dionela and R&B veteran Jay R – continuing to make a significant jump in its ranking as it enters the top 10 of the chart for the first time, officially securing the No. 5 spot. Meanwhile, two of Dionela’s other songs have made their entry into the chart with “Hoodie” featuring Alisson Shore at No. 78 and “Musika” at No, 93.

Prior to this, “sining” notably jumped from No. 49 to No. 15 on the same chart last week, for the week of July 20, while also making its debut on Billboard Philippines’ Top Philippine Songs chart at No. 8.

The joint single – which serves as a heartfelt celebration of a love that stands the test of time – continues to make waves since it was released last June 7. Its viral status was further elevated following the release of an accompanying music video last July 17, starring Stacey of P-pop girl group BINI.

For the rest of the top 10 on the Hot 100, Maki continues to take hold of the No. 1 spot with “Dilaw” for the fourth week in a row, followed by Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 2. Meanwhile, BINI occupy the most spots on the top 10 this week with “Salamin, Salamin” at No. 3, “Pantropiko” at No. 6, “Cherry On Top” making its debut at No. 8, and “Karera” at No, 9. Elsewhere on the top 10, Sabrina Carpenter occupies two spots with “Please Please Please” at No, 4 and “Espresso” at No. 7 while TJ Monterde rounds it all off with “Palagi” at No. 10.
