aespa’s recent comeback has definitely sent the charts into a “Whiplash.”
Following the track’s release last October, the futuristic girl group’s latest comeback has made its debut into the Philippines Hot 100, ranking at No. 54 on this week’s chart (dated November 9, 2024). The track is fresh off their fifth mini album of the same title, which is accompanied by five other tracks that showcase the group’s versatility.
Other new entries joining “Whiplash” on the chart are fellow K-pop idol Jin’s “I’ll Be There” at No. 36, Keshi’s “Soft Spot” at No. 68, Up Dharma Down’s classic “Oo” at No. 92, and Flowerovlove’s “Breaking News” at No. 95.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
