BTS‘ Jin has just made his way up the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart (dated November 30, 2024) with his single, “Running Wild.”
The K-pop superstar’s latest single debuts straight at the Top 10 position of the Philippines Hot 100 chart, given its growing popularity amongst ARMY members and Filipino listeners around the country. With the track’s inclusion as part of Jin’s debut solo mini-album Happy, it’s no surprise as to why both the song and the rest of the record have found resonance with millions of listeners — especially as a means of celebrating Jin’s return from the Korean military.
“Running Wild” marks Jin’s second entry on the Philippines Hot 100, following his previous single “I’ll Be There” which debuted at the No. 36 spot on the chart (which was dated November 3, 2024.) Given the immense dedication of BTS’ loyal fandom, the ARMY, it’s no surprise as to why the track has made its debut on the chart within the Top 50.
Elsewhere on the Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars continue to hold the No. 1 spot on the chart with the viral “APT.”, while Mars also shares the No. 2 spot with Lady Gaga for their chart-topping ballad “Die With A Smile.” TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan hold No. 3 with “Palagi,” while Dionela and Jay R’s “Sining” steps moves up to No. 4, and Billie Eilish moves down a spot to No. 5 position with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER.” Maki’s “Dilaw” stays at No. 6 on the chart, and Dionela’s “Marilag” moves up to No. 7, and Robledo Timido’s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang” moves to No. 8. To round off the Top 10, Sabrina Carpenter evens it out with “Taste,” which stands at No. 9.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts are updated weekly every Wednesday.
