The BINI fever is in effect across the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
Since the inception of Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts, one of its most notable mainstays has been the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI. Continuing to ride the wave of success brought by their breakthrough with “Pantropiko,” BINI have flawlessly managed to capture the hearts of Filipino listeners, with many of their other songs continuing to rapidly gain traction as well.
From various tracks off their second album Feel Good to the major hits from their latest EP Talaarawan, BINI’s discography continues to shine throughout the Billboard Philippines charts, occupying a whopping eight spots on the Hot 100 this week. “I Feel Good”
At No. 94 is “I Feel Good.” Taken from the group’s second album Feel Good, “I Feel Good” narrates the happy-go-lucky experience of being so in love with someone that you can’t help but simply feel like you’re absolutely in paradise.
“Na Na Na”
Holding the No. 35 spot this week is “Na Na Na” from BINI’s debut album Born To Win. Released in 2022, “Na Na Na” explores themes of falling head over heels for someone and the nervousness and hesitation that comes with it due to previously having unlucky experiences with love.
“Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi”
Another track from BINI’s sophomore album is the “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi” at No. 32. Also part of the original soundtrack for An Incovenient Love starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, the heartfelt track talks about wanting to spend more time with a special someone to the point where they do not want to go home just yet.
“Lagi”
At the No. 15 position is “Lagi.” Another track from the Feel Good album, “Lagi” explores the experience of being so in love with someone to the point that you can’t help but constantly sing out of joy and proclaim your feelings out loud.
“Karera”
Taking the No. 9 spot this week is “Karera.” Serving as the first single off BINI’s Talaarawan EP, “Karera” is a straightforward, gentle reminder that life is not a race, advising listeners to take their time and go at their own pace.
“Cherry On Top”
At No. 7 is BINI’s latest comeback track “Cherry On Top.” Serving as their first release since the success of the Talaarawan EP, “Cherry On Top” talks about being a sweet, welcome addition to the life of a special someone — with one’s presence serving as the so-called “cherry on top.”
“Pantropiko”
Holding its position at No. 6 this week is “Pantropiko,” the third track from Talaarawan. Serving as BINI’s breakthrough hit, “Pantropiko” explores the point-of-view of finding unexplainable joy upon falling in love with someone, akin to spending a nice, relaxing summer on a tropical island.
“Salamin, Salamin”
Lastly, remaining at No. 4 this week is “Salamin, Salamin,” the second track from Talaarawan. Currently BINI’s hottest song, “Salamin, Salamin” illustrates the experience of someone wanting to know how the person they like feels for them and the uncertainty as well as excitement that comes with it.
