BINI have once again solidified their title as the Nation’s Girl Group — as seen by their continuous reign on Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs chart.

For this week’s chart rankings (dated August 2, 2024), the P-pop phenomenons have occupied five of the top ten positions on the Top Philippine Songs chart. Their long-standing set of hit songs, “Salamin, Salamin” and “Pantropiko” from their Talaarawan EP, stands at No. 3 and No. 4, while their recently-released single “Cherry On Top” stands at No. 5 on the rankings. Also at No. 7 and No. 8 are the group’s other string of hits, “Karera” and “Lagi” respectively.

Aside from BINI’s consistent hold on Filipino listeners (as exemplified by this week’s Top Philippine Songs chart), other mainstays on the chart include Maki‘s chart-topping single “Dilaw” which finally bows down to Dionela and Jay R‘s “Sining” — with the latter now reaching a new peak spot at No. 1 on the chart for the first time. TJ Monterde’s “Palagi” holds on to the impressive position of No. 6 once more, while Hev Abi‘s “Walang Alam” and Realest Cram & CK YG’s “Wag Na” occupy the No. 9 and No. 10 spots for the second week in a row.

Beyond the top of the chart, there still lie several new exciting entries on the twenty-five spots of the Top Philippine Songs chart. BINI’s “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi” and “Na Na Na” chart at the spots No. 23 and No. 24, while independent singer-songwriter Eliza Maturan stands as this week’s biggest chart-climber, jumping up from the No. 24 spot last week to a new peak position of No. 11. Over October‘s viral track “Ikot” also makes its debut on this week’s chart rankings, entering at a strong position of No. 22, while Rob Deniel attains his second entry on the Top Philippine Songs chart with “Miss, Miss” which debuts at the spot of No. 25.

Just recently, BINI concluded their groundbreaking performance at KCON LA, wherein they performed alongside heavyweight K-pop acts like ENHYPEN, as well as HYBE and Geffen Records’ rising international girl group KATSEYE. The group performed “Cherry On Top” during the pre-show of the prestigious “M Countdown” stage, and were able to collaborate with both ENHYPEN and KATSEYE for a series of dance challenges that made their viral rounds online.
