Moira just gave everyone a sneak peek into her upcoming album.
Tonight (October 15) at Billboard Philippines: Mainstage, the award-winning singer-songwriter surprised the crowd with a performance of her unreleased track. Titled “Dinggin,” the track comes off of her upcoming album, i’m okay.
In an exclusive cover interview with Billboard Philippines, Moira revealed that her forthcoming album — which is said to take after the season of spring — comes as her most honest one yet, detailing her personal journey of growth and healing over the past two years.
“This is the first time that [my album] wasn’t controlled by any label or any management or any other person. It had no influence of anybody else, it’s really just my heart and soul put on the tracks,” she revealed to Billboard Philippines.
“I wanted to be really careful with it. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t saying or doing more or less than I should, because I know that I hold that responsibility. I wanted to make sure I’m not bleeding too much, but I also wanted to make sure I was authentic enough. I wanted to make sure I was as honest as I wanted to be.”
While no release date has been confirmed yet, Moira shares the album is slated for release soon, wanting to show her fans her most authentic self through this album.
Moira just wrapped up her performance at Billboard Philippines: Mainstage, Billboard Philippines‘ grand anniversary celebration. She joins the stage alongside other OPM powerhouses including Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, SB19, BINI, Hev Abi, and more.
