If you haven’t noticed it yet, Spotify has released the AI Playlist in beta, a new feature that lets Premium users effortlessly create personalized playlists based on specific or creative prompts, which is now available in the Philippines.
The overall Spotify experience wouldn’t be complete without creating playlists, whether you have the knack for creating specific playlists for core memories and moments in your life, or you just want to have a good rotation of music to listen to throughout the day. Since launching AI Playlist last year, Premium users from the UK and Australia have created millions of playlists that best suit their mood and taste.
From highly specific prompts like “coming-of-age music while commuting back home” or “a breakup playlist with only happy and upbeat songs,” Spotify’s AI Playlist will do all the work in crafting and curating tracks that perfectly suit the mood, vibe, and music taste. Think of it as playlist-making but without all the hassle of looking for the perfect songs.

To get started with creating your very own AI playlist, head over to the search tab on your phone and search “AI Playlist.” You have the option to select one of the suggestions or get creative and try one of your ideas. Spotify will then create a personalized playlist based on the songs, genres, and artists they think you’ll like.
As a pro tip from Spotify, the “most successful playlists” are generated with prompts that range from a mix of mood, artists, or genre. You can also refine your playlist and edit your prompt to enhance it. Additionally, you can be extra creative with your playlists by referencing movie characters, colors, activities, and even emojis.
