Netflix has released the trailer for the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things, featuring Deep Purple‘s 1968 track “Child in Time.”

Taking cues from season four’s memorable use of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets,” which became iconic thanks to fan-favorite character Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), the final season teases another rock-infused cinematic experience.

The near-three-minute trailer opens with Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and the rest of the series’ heroes at the WSQK radio station, before quickly escalating into chaos. An orchestral version of “Child in Time,” taken from the band’s fourth studio album Deep Purple in Rock, plays as the tension builds where we snippets of this new season unfolds. Formed in 1968, they are widely regarded as one of the pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal.

Set in the fall of 1987, a year after the events of season four, the final season picks up with the town of Hawkins fractured by the opening of the Rifts, a gate that connects the alternate dimension Upside Down to Hawkins.

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is now being hunted by the military, while the group races to find and destroy Vecna once and for all. As the anniversary of Will Byers’ (Noah Schnapp) disappearance approaches, the gang must unite for one final stand — facing a battle deadlier than before.
