New Judges Revealed For First-Ever ‘Idol Kids Philippines’
For the first time, the series is launching a spin-off dedicated entirely to young contestants.

The search for the “future kiddie idol” in the country is underway as Idol Kids Philippines launches its first ever season, with Juan Karlos and Angeline Quinto joining returning judges and OPM icons Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Gary Valenciano.
On Instagram, the reality singing competition’s announcement came with the caption, saying, “Apat na naglalakihang pangalan sa industriya ng musika sa Pilipinas ang haharapin ng mga Kiddie Hopefuls (The Kiddie Hopefuls will face four big names in the Philippine music industry)!”
Ahead of the judges’ announcements, Robi Domingo and Jolina Magdangal were revealed to be the season’s co-hosts.
Previous editions and iterations of the reality singing competition series featured adult and teen contestants. The first season of Idol Philippines aired in 2019, with Velasquez-Alcasid, Vice Ganda, Moira dela Torre, and James Reid serving as judges. Zephanie as the inaugural winner.
The show returned with its second season in 2022, featuring Velasquez-Alcasid, Valenciano, dela Torre, and Chito Miranda as judges. Khimo Gumatay was was crowned the season’s grand winner.

The first season of Idol Kids Philippines is set to premiere sometime this June.
Serving as the local adaptation of the Idol format, Idol Philippines is the third and current incarnation of the Philippine Idol franchise, following the original Philippine Idol in 2006 and Pinoy Idol in 2008.
