LISA is heading into her rom-com era, starring in and co-executive producing an upcoming Netflix feature produced by David Bernard, the executive producer of The White Lotus.
The project will be written by Katie Silberman, whose credits include Netflix’s Set It Up, starring Glen Powell and Zoey Deutch, as well as Olivia Wilde’s Booksmart and Don’t Worry, Darling.
Plot details remain under wraps, but LISA and Bernard developed the premise while working together on the third season of The White Lotus. The pair reportedly bonded over their shared love of the 1999 romantic-comedy classic Notting Hill, often cited as one of the most beloved comfort films of all time.
This announcement comes after LISA prepares for her feature film debut in TYGO, a spin-off within Netflix’s Extraction franchise. The action-packed thriller directed by Lee Sang-yong is set in South Korea and stars Don Lee (Train to Busan).
At the start of the year, LISA began grounding herself in the world of film and television, becoming the first K-pop artist to present at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. She presented the Best Actor – Television Series Drama award alongside Priyanka Chopra.
This month, LISA and the rest of BLACKPINK are releasing their third mini-album, Deadline, which will feature five tracks, including the lead single “JUMP,” released in July 2025, while “Go” will be released alongside the mini-album on February 27, 2026.
