Fresh off the release of her debut solo extended-play AMORTAGE, JISOO has just announced the project’s upcoming release on two unique and limited edition vinyl record variants.
The forthcoming set of music collectibles was first announced by her record label and entertainment agency BLISSOO, who posted the records on their official social media platforms. The first special variant of AMORTAGE features the four-track mini-album pressed on a singular 10″ heart-shaped Baby-Pink colored vinyl, while the other is pressed on a standard 12″ sized Pink Marble color vinyl. The latter includes a series of bonus tracks in addition to the original record’s four-track run, adding in an English language rendition of the EP’s lead single “Earthquake”, together with instrumental versions of each track on the project.
The Heart Ver. vinyl is packaged in a clear PVC sleeve and includes a 12×12-sized cover insert, an exclusive photo book, a sticker set, and a fold-out poster featuring an unreleased image of JISOO. On the other hand, the Pink Marbled Ver. vinyl includes the same inclusions –– but is packaged in a gatefold jacket with die-cut artwork to highlight the record’s customized label. JISOO’s AMORTAGE made an impact on the Billboard Philippines charts upon its release, with “Earthquake” making an impressive debut at the No. 56 spot of the Philippines Hot 100 chart in its first week. To celebrate the EP’s release, the BLACKPINK soloist recently embarked on a series of sold-out shows for her ‘LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!’ fanmeet concerts across Asia, including one in Manila that was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Both variants for the limited edition AMORTAGE vinyl records are priced between KRW 55,000 and KRW 59,000 (Php 2,100 and Php 2,400) and are now available for pre-order across various Korean retailers and record stores with an expected release date of May 30, 2025.
