If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new K-pop girl group in town and they’re not only slaying on stage, but hunt demons too.

Meet Huntrix, Netflix’s newest fictional girl group from their latest animated film, KPop Demon Hunters. The film — produced by Sony Pictures Animation — follows the story of K-pop trio Huntrix, who are not only selling out massive stadiums but are also protecting the world from soul-eating demons. Comprising Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, they’re the industry’s biggest K-pop stars and fierce demon hunters who are stopping at nothing to keep their fans happy.

Inspired by the real world’s biggest K-pop girl groups like BLACKPINK, TWICE — whose members actually lent their voices for the movie’s soundtrack — and ITZY, Huntrix has the makings of the very best of K-pop girl groups so it’s no wonder why audiences can’t get enough of this new trio.

And so, while we hope to see more from the girl group, here’s a guide on the members of Huntrix.

Rumi is the determined leader of Huntrix with one goal in mind — to turn the Honmoon gold. Voiced by actress Arden Cho with her singing voice performed by vocal producer and arranger EJAE, Rumi is firm and relentless in the pursuit of her goal — even if it sometimes means sacrificing some much needed rest and relaxation. In more ways than one, she’s the heart of Huntrix.

Born to a mom who was also a K-pop star (and demon slayer) herself, there’s no denying that Rumi was born to be a popstar royalty. With a voice that could literally bring her fans to tears, she powers Huntrix and brings her members and fans together.

Voiced by May Hong and Audrey Nuna (the latter of which provides her singing voice), Mira is K-pop’s ultimate It Girl. As Huntrix’s main dancer, choreographer, and visual, she’s a captivating force on and off the stage. With razor-sharp precision and a magnetic stage presence, there’s no doubt that Mira’s the type of idol that sets trends effortlessly — like wearing a sleeping bag to the Met Gala.

While she may seem a little rough around the edges and often monotone, there’s nothing that means more to Mira than Huntrix. After rebelling away from her wealthy family, she finds home with her members, pouring her heart and soul to keep the girl group going. Behind her cool exterior is a fierce protector, someone who will go to any lengths to ensure the group’s success and well-being.

While Zoey might be the youngest member of Huntrix, there’s no discounting the power she brings to a performance. As the girl group’s main rapper and songwriter, she takes over the stage with her bold lyrics and fierce stage presence. Just like her fans said, while she may be the group’s adorable maknae, she’s got a fire that goes hard in ways no one expects.

Born and raised in Burbank, California, Zoey often had a hard time finding her place. Armed with just a notebook and pen, she pours her heart and soul into songwriting even when sometimes it feels like her songs are “meaningless and weird.” But joining Huntrix changed everything. The group gives Zoey a sense of belonging, transforming her lyrics into something powerful enough to not only bring their fans together, but also protect them.
