BIGHIT Music has finally premiered the first teaser of BTS’ J-Hope forthcoming documentary titled HOPE ON THE STREET.
The 17-second trailer opens with clips of J-Hope practicing choreography, until a text box in the center flips from 2015 to 2024. The rapper-singer-songwriter’s back was then showed to the camera. According to his interview on fellow member Suga’s talk show, Suchwita last year, the documentary will tackle is life and dancing career over the years. In the caption of the trailer, the entertainment company revealed that HOPE ON THE STREET will come out in March of this year.
J-Hope is currently undergoing his mandatory military service. He enlisted in April 2023, following Jin’s enlistment in December 2022. The remaining members of BTS — RM, Jungkook, V, and Jimin — enlisted in December of last year. Jin and J-Hope’s contracts will conclude this year.
J-Hope released an album titled Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition) in August of last year. The expanded version of 2022’s Jack In The Box features Lollapalooza versions of “Equal Sign,” “STOP,” and “Future” as well as instrumental versions of “MORE” and “Arson.” He also released a collaboration with American rapper J. Cole titled “on the street.” He made his solo debut in 2018 with his first full-length record, Hope World. Since then, he has also released a collaboration with Becky G and the aforementioned Jack In The Box variations.
