Fresh off the surprise reunion of Fifth Harmony, Lauren Jauregui is briefly trading her singing skills for some dancing shoes as she is set to join Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, premiering on Disney+ on September 16.

On Instagram, the singer shared the news, “found out I was going on a new adventure on MONDAY! Flew out to New York Tuesday morning,” she says in the caption. She will be partnered up with Brandon Armstrong, a professional Latin and ballroom dancer who has been with the dance competition television series as a pro since 2018’s Season 27, except for Season 32 in 2023.

Apart from Jauregui, some of the celebrities for the upcoming season include actor Corey Feldman, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying, wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, and retired NBA player Baron Davis.

Fifth Harmony reunited during a Jonas Brothers‘ ‘JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown’ concert in Texas and performed “Worth It.” The group is currently made up of Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani, and Dinah Jane, following the exit of Camila Cabello in 2016. It remains to be seen whether they are officially reuniting for an extended run.

The group competed in the second season of The X Factor and was the last to be eliminated. They have released three albums and are known for their tracks “Worth It” and “Work from Home.”

After the group went on hiatus in 2018, Jauregui released two EPs: Prelude in 2021 and In Between in 2023.
