South Korean boy band ENHYPEN has been selected as the newest “Friends of the NBA” to help promote the American basketball league in the Asia-Pacific region. The group will offer diverse fan experiences through a series of regional campaigns launching on June 5, ahead of the NBA Finals.
In a press release, the group shared their excitement for the collaboration, saying, “We are thrilled to be teaming up with the NBA. We look forward to creating unique experiences with NBA fans around the world in new and exciting ways, even beyond the stage.”
“Friends of the NBA” is a collaborative project between the NBA and various influencers and celebrities to expand the league’s outreach in the Asia-Pacific region. Aside from ENHYPEN, the NBA have worked with LE SSERAFIM as part of the program. Additionally, BTS’ SUGA was also named the league’s global ambassador in 2023.
2025 continues to be a monumental year for the seven-member boy band. In April, they made their Coachella debut and made history as the fastest K-pop boy group to perform at the iconic music festival since their debut.
Earlier this year, the group returned to the Philippines for their ‘WALK THE LINE‘ world tour at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan last March. They are now gearing up for their comeback with their sixth mini-album, Desire: Unleash, set to release on June 5.
