The highly anticipated second season of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again has released its teaser trailer featuring Childish Gambino‘s “Lithonia.”

“Lithonia” is the lead single to Gambino’s fifth studio album, Bando Stone & the New World, released in 2024, and was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. The guitar-heavy rock track features Oscar-winning Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson on guitar and actor-singer Alex Wolff on drums.

In 2025, Gambino was featured on JENNIE‘s debut album Ruby on the track “Damn Right,” which also includes Kali Uchis.

The eight-episode second season sees Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox) continue his quest to take down his biggest adversary, Mayor Wilson Fisk / Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF). The first season premiered its first two episodes on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. The season will be part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Born Again serves as the revival series for Netflix’s Daredevil, which ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018. The upcoming season will see the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, who previously appeared in her own Netflix series, Jessica Jones, between 2015 and 2019, as well as the 2017 team-up miniseries, The Defenders.

The cast also includes Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn.
