Billie Eilish‘s 3D concert film, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (Live in 3D), drops its first official trailer — releasing in cinemas in March 2026.

Co-directed by blockbuster filmmaker James Cameron and Eilish, the project, described as “an innovative new concert experience,” was first teased in July 2025 and captures the singer’s four consecutive shows at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. Cameron says that they used technology that had never been used before, and also teased how it changes the way concert films are shot and made.

The three-minute trailer opens with the “Birds of a Feather” hitmaker in a tour diary style montage, highlighting the impact of her third studio album and her seventh headlining concert tour. The film moves through performance footage and offers an intimate look at Eilish’s vulnerability and the pain she experiences behind the scenes.

The trailer ends with a cute little moment. “Tour’s so brutal I like to have a puppy room to go chill in,” Eilish says. To which Cameron replies, “I’m doing this on my next movie for sure.”

This marks Eilish’s second concert film, following 2021’s Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, directed by Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Osborne and released exclusively on Disney+. It featured Eilish performing every song from her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, at the Hollywood Bowl amphitheater.

Meanwhile, the third installment of Cameron’s blockbuster Avatar franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash, releases in Philippine cinemas on December 17, 2025. Beyond the third film, Avatar 4 and 5 are planned, depending on the box office success of Fire and Ash.
