The nine-piece Filipino indie folk-pop band Ben&Ben has been named the official music partner and ambassador of the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship, which will happen from September 12 to 28, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and SM Mall of Asia Arena.
According to the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNFV), the band’s song “Triumph,” released last October 2024, will be used as the league’s official song throughout the countdown for the world championships. The song is included in their third studio album, The Traveller Across Dimensions, released in November of last year.
In a statement, Paolo Benjamin shared that their song “Triumph” radiates the love, passion, and drive that perfectly captures the sport of volleyball and the world championship our country will be hosting. He added that the band is “happy and proud to be the official music partner of the historic event.” They will perform the song at the closing ceremony on September 28.
Established in 1947, the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) is the global governing body for volleyball worldwide, organizing major tournaments like the World Championships and Volleyball Nations League (VNL). This edition marks the first time the Philippines will host the historic event, with 32 national teams set to compete.
