ena mori just joined forces with Häagen-Dazs Japan for a sweet team-up. The Filipino-Japanese experimental pop singer-songwriter announced the news last March 8, 2025 (Saturday), revealing that her song “Trust Me” was chosen by the ice cream brand for its latest commercial.

The commercial itself is for Häagen-Dazs Japan’s “The Milk” ice cream in a cup, which ena mori reveals in her announcement is an ice cream she really loves. “So excited to share that my song, ‘Trust Me’ is the new commercial song for ‘The Milk’ cup of Häagen-Dazs Japan.”

Fittingly, the commercial notably stars Japanese actress Nakanishi Kiara, best known for her leading role in the figure skating drama film My Sunshine (2024). In the movie, she plays a young figure skater named Sakura who meets a promising hockey player named Takuya (Koshiyama Keitatsu). With Takuya suddenly developing a keen interest in figure skating thanks to Sakura, he is eventually taken under the wing of Sakura’s coach Arakawa (Ikematsu Sosuke) who guides the two into figure skating as a pair.

“Trust Me” was released by ena mori last July 26, 2024, serving as the follow-up to “Heartache Generation.” Billboard Philippines described the track as exploring “the emotional journey of trying to find self-worth and honesty in relationships, battling internal insecurities, and striving for a more genuine existence.”
