Released on October 16, 2026 under Sony Music Entertainment Philippines, the track puts a playful spin on the familiar experience of being a third wheel.
Drawing on the three wheels of a Filipino tricycle as a metaphor for being the extra person in someone else’s love story, “Trisikulo” explores the desire for companionship while watching friends and loved ones find romance. Rather than dwell on loneliness, however, the song approaches the experience with humor.
Ziv explains, “I wanted to write about something that genuinely reflects where I am in life right now,” citing his own third wheel experiences, which have become a running joke among his family and friends. He also points out that the familiar situation is not often explored in songs.
Musically, the third wheel anthem blends elements of J-pop, J-rock, and K-pop with the lyrical storytelling of OPM.
Ziv co-wrote the track with Paolo Benjamin Guico of Ben&Ben and Angelika Samantha Ortiz of VVINK, one of the songwriters behind BINI’s hit song, “Pantropiko.” The South-Korean born artist-producerProducerThe person who guides the creative and technical process of making a recording, shaping its sound, arrangement, and overall quality.
