As expected, the 39th Awit Awards were nothing short of spectacular, with the evening’s star-studded lineup fashionably sauntering down the red carpet at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 15, 2026.

With its central theme of “IISANG AWIT (ONE SONG),” the event brought generations of OPM acts to the red carpet, from fresh P-pop groups like VVINK to veteran bands like 6cyclemind and Typecast. Nearing the ceremony proper, groups like XONARA, IV OF SPADES, and SB19 entered the venue, with cameras and news reporters expectedly flocking towards them.

The event also featured a stacked lineup of presenters, with likes of Ben&Ben, the SexBomb Girls, Gloc-9, Rob Deniel, Jose Mari Chan, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, James Reid, Jim Paredes, and even former Miss Universe Catriona Gray announcing the evening’s winners.

Other than the group’s Pablo winning Songwriter of the Year, SB19 walked home with multiple awards, most notably for their smash hit “DUNGKA!,” which was awarded Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Pop Recording, and Best Music Video. Another song that received recognition that night was Dionela‘s “Ikigai” (ft. Loonie), which won Best R&B Recording, Best Rap/Hiphop Recording, Best Collaboration, and Best Vocal Arrangment.

Considering their historic reunion in the latter half of last year and their follow-up critically acclaimed album, IV OF SPADES understandably took with them two GRAND AWARDS for Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
