Role Model opens up about being single with his third studio album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, released through Interscope.

Serving as a follow-up to his 2024 sophomore record Kansas Anymore, the record features the previously released singles “High Hopes 3000,” his first entry on the Billboard US Hot 100, and “Joy.”

Born Tucker Harrington Pillsbury, Role Model takes on the fictional alter ego “Chuck Timely.” The character becomes a mirror into the record’s recurring themes of time, personal growth, and emotional uncertainty.

“Making the album and writing all those songs — I think me going to therapy now is a result of that. There’s a lot of self-discovery through mindlessly dating or intentionally dating,” Pillsbury shares in an interview with Nylon.

“You start to question if maybe you’re the problem, and I think maybe there are things in myself that I need to change before I’m — I don’t know. The album did something very good for me in the way that it made me look at myself a little bit deeper and question how much I actually have it all figured out,” he adds.
