Stray Kids continue their journey of self-expression with the release of their 10th mini-album, THIS & THAT, through JYP Entertainment.

The eight-track project sees the group embracing the many sides of their identity, exploring the duality between different emotions, experiences, and perspectives that shape who they are as artists. It is fully produced by their in-house unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), who also participated in the creation of the album’s songs.

Ahead of the project’s release, the group spoke at a press event in Seoul, South Korea. “It’s been so long since our last comeback that every part of the schedule feels exciting,” Changbin shares. “We held concerts in Seoul last month, and I hope we can carry that energy into this album.”

The title track, which was also released with a music video, is described as a departure from the group’s previous singles, featuring a more approachable and relaxed sound than usual.

On embracing a new sound with this project, “This time we went in a different direction — a little more chill and relaxed. Like the title, we wanted to express the confidence of being good at this and that,” Changbin shares.

Check out the track list below:

  1. “RUN IT”
  2. “This & That”
  3. “After You”
  4. “FARMING”
  5. “I Do”
  6. “Way Out”
  7. “Back Then”
  8. “This & That (Festival Version)” (feat. Tele)

The result also led to a toning down of the unfamiliar and rougher elements that were present in the group’s early music. “The hook came together quickly, and we kept humming it while preparing the choreography. The members all responded well, so we’re confident about it,” Changbin adds.
