Irrevocable Release New Single “Email”
The seasoned punk quintet returns with its first new music in two years, introducing a refreshed lineup and the first chapter of a two-part release.

On July 22, Manila-based punk and emo quintet Irrevocable have released a new single, entitled “Email.”
The band’s first release since their 2023 EP Generational Curses, “Email” is an energetic and uptempo blast of twitchy guitar riffs and precise hardcore drumming, providing an exciting backdrop to Lenian Gaspar-Cariño’s frantic, soaring vocals. It clocks in at less than two minutes, in contrast to their previous EP’s relatively lengthier songs, but doesn’t leave the listener unsatisfied.
“[Our 2018 debut record] Where is Home had short songs and Generational Curses EP had longer songs,” said guitarist Tani Cariño in a press release. “We decided to go back to shorter songs for this record.”
“Email” is also Irrevocable’s first studio recording with new guitarist Jom Grana and new drummer Edzcel Neria, who recently joined singer Gaspar-Cariño, guitarist Cariño, and bassist Ino Grana as official members. “We just let the new guys do their thing and not be bound to what the old lineup did,” added Cariño. “It’s a mix of old methods with newer input but the influences are still the same.”
Concurrently, the band also released a music video for the track, co-directed with Gibson Santiago. Watch it below:
“Email” is set to be “the first of two connected singles,” and will be followed by “Not Much To Miss Out.” The second track will also have a music video that serves as a sequel to the “Email” MV.
Formed in 2017, Irrevocable is an esteemed punk rock band whose sound has incorporated elements of emo, pop punk, and hardcore. Signed to Cebu’s Melt Records, they are set to release a new record in 2026, which will be distributed in both physical and digital formats in the Philippines and in Japan.
